A large share of our Diagnostic Medical Sonographers are International Medical Graduates, many with medical specialties in radiology, OB-GYN, or cardiology in their countries of origin. After completing medical school and specialty training abroad, they were retrained under U.S. clinical standards and certified through ARDMS and SDMS to practice as Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in the United States.

They don't just operate the probe. Their medical training gives them a deeper understanding of anatomy, clinical context, and what radiologists need to make confident diagnoses.
